Trinity Church Islington is a church community made up of many relationships. But at the heart of it all is relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the one who brings people to life. He is the one whose story fills the pages of the Bible. He is the one that we learn to know as God’s word is preached. And he is the one who shows us how to love one another sacrificially.
Our aim is to see everyone live, learn, and love because of him.
On Sundays we meet in St Mark's Myddelton Square near Angel tube station - it's 4pm for tea and cake, and then a 4.30pm start. You are always welcome to join us wherever you're coming from faith-wise, and if you've got kids, then bring them along too, and make use of our DBS-checked creche, youth, and children's groups.
In our meetings, our aim is to keep Jesus Christ central, and to get to know God better through what he says in the Bible. As well as a talk, there's the chance to respond by singing, praying, and spending time together. No question is out of bounds, and you can take part in as much or as little as you'd like.
Tuesday evenings are a key time to feel like you belong. We meet in the main church building, eat together and gather in smaller groups to look together at the Bible, encourage each other, and to pray for one another too. Each evening is a great time to make and meet friends and spend time with others as you are, knowing that none of us has it all sorted.
It's always a relaxed time and any week is a good week to join. We'll be there from 7.30pm to eat and 8pm to study and pray.
A couple of Tuesdays out of the term groups will meet away from the St Mark's building. But check out the small group diary and we can make sure you don't miss out.
During the school terms, Trinity Church Islington runs Story Corner on Tuesday mornings, 10-11.30am. This is a brilliant time for parents, carers and their babies and toddlers from the local (and not so local) Islington area to get together. Filled with more toys than you can shake a half-chewed bread stick at, and with plenty of coffee and nibbles to boot, the church building becomes a great space to relax, chat, and listen to a Bible story together.
